# Self Hoster Server
FaceX offers a Self Hosted Facial Recognition Container which can be hosted at your own server infrastructure and having the capability to work entirely at your premise (even with no connection to the FaceX Cloud). FaceX's Self Hosted Servers are recommended only if you have a team that can host and maintain Server Instances. The solution is packaged as Docker instances which currently only supports Ubuntu/Linux systems.
The docker instance can be used to accept live steaming video feed as input. Faces in the video stream will be detected and cropped. These cropped images can be used for facial recognition.
